Interning Abroad
This weekend, I've officially been accepted by CIS-Abroad to do a summer internship in Barcelona. My internship will be related to journalism, my major.
This is huge because I've never been outside of the country before. I've never even flown on an airplane before.
However, my biggest concern right now (probably my only concern, in fact) is money. I have not been saving up like I should have. I've applied for several scholarships, but I'm not sure how many I'll receive because I screwed up my resume in at least one of them, and I didn't realize that until it was too late to fix it. I applied for summer financial aid, which sure be worth a couple thousand dollars (the program itself costs anywhere from $5,000-$9,000).
Has anybody ever done a study/internship abroad while in college? If so, how'd you pull it off?
