Don't know, don't care. I find looks to be overrated.

Generally not. Most of the time you will be leaning in and just touching shoulders during the hug, unless you are romantically involved with the person. Even then, the hugs get gradually closer as you get more comfortable with one another. By the time you are romantically serious enough to do a full-body contact hug, you probably already know what one another's abs look like.

I can't generally tell if someone has an Anti-lock Braking System just by hugging them, no.

Doesn't everyone has abs?

You probably wouldn't need to hug someone to know that they have Antley-Bixler Syndrome.

Quote:
Antley-Bixler Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that is primarily characterized by distinctive malformations of the head and facial (craniofacial) area and additional skeletal abnormalities...

Seriously, unless the person with "abs" is grinding his belly against the person he is hugging, she is not likely to notice. Even then, she is likely to think that he is grinding something else against her, and she will likely be offended.

Oh, abs as in muscles! I thought at first ABS stood for some kind of disorder.

And to answer your question, I could never tell just from hugging or being hugged, and I don't really care anyway. Might be more bumpy and painful than a normal person.

If you have abs, just go without a shirt - since you're a guy I take it. If you don't have abs, strap a washboard to your stomach under your shirt.

Thats what I thought at first (because he spelled it all caps in the title).

Was all set to google the acronym ABS to find out what new disorder (or maybe its a therapy like ABA) that he was talking about- until I read the OP and realized what he meant. Lol!
