Hey everyone I am wondering what kind of friends people.
So anyone who wants to can write about what kind of friends you have.
Then we can compare notes.

(And if you don't have any or many friends its all right just tell us what
you think would make an ideal friend)

My friends are the kind of people who would spend hours trying to drown a fish.! !

My friends also respect the choices and standards that I have.

I want a friend who likes history and cats and will sit and talk to me online instead of making me go out.

My kind of friends are the ones who don't mind me just being there, tagging along, being more of an observer than an active participant. Yet, they appreciate me for this and see it as just me being me, not bc i am shy or being rude or whatever other reasons. In addtion, they don't think it as unexpected or funny or a big deal when i do decide to participate. That's the kind of friends i'd like to have.

jnet, I like your kind of friends. :)

My kind of friends accept me even though I'm weird and quirky to them. They don't mind me tagging along, don't think I'm a "burden." Laugh at my jokes. Are playful. Loyal. Honest. Don't mind if I stand in the corner, but encourage me to get out and do things. Are supportive when I'm down.

Exactly :D
Unfortunately I don't know if that kind of friend exists :( Other than my aspie friend at college :)
My boyfriend comes close to that and it's one reason I love him and am with him. He just accepts me.

My best friend IRL is an old grey cat named Stacey.

An online friend who was not an insane impersonator of about twenty-million different people on the web would be very nice also.

Well...I think I have made two friends in real life.
Josh- A boy who is outgoing and seems quite happy.
Jessie- A girl who has had some problems with life, but is coming back together.

In friends, I tend to seek loyalty, honesty without being cruel, resilience as I can be quite a difficult person, a love of music, some emotional capacity, even if poorly expressed, and an ability to know and understand me. Only met one person like that recently and they aint here anymore. :(

I have no friends any longer. But throughout my life, my friends have always been my gaming buddies, who I end up getting closer to. My lovers, being the closest friends that I have had, have always had to be able and willing to game too. Now, my life is without games for the first time - so I don't know how to find friends.

My friends are geeky and shy, like me. They mostly laugh at me if I am being too blunt, rather than get offended. I have one friend who is totally obsessed with radom facts and regually asks me to email him questions to give him things to look up. :)
