Any fellow Ravenclaws out there in aspie land?

Sitting here by the hearth reading "The Martian" and enjoying a cup of coffee.

I'll join you, although I am a Gryffindor if that's okay. Reading The Martian out of anticipation of the new movie or is it just a favorite of your? I myself am currently reading several books at once at a very slow pace. I've been reading a Clash of Kings for who knows how long now, I'll probably just start over. NeuroTribes arrived by owl yesterday so I'll be digging into that soon. I've also been productively reading The Silmarillion, taking a short break right now as I've finished a book within the book. Occasionally I also pick up The Road and read parts of it.

I heard about The Martian a while ago before the movie was announced and bought it on Google Play. I kinda forgot about it until I realized the movie's coming out next month! So yeah, a combination of factors.

Yeah, no rule saying other Hogwarts' houses can't visit. One of the chairs has a hex, another just has a whoopie cushion but the rest are just regular, plain, everyday, non-enchanted chairs. So, welcome! Just need you to sign this waiver...

*signed* wouldn't want anything "unnatural" to happen to me.

That's cool though, it's always nice to have been able to read a book before it's complimentary movie comes out. Unfortunately that has almost never been the case for me, except for The Road somehow.

Depends on what you mean by "unnatural".

OMG, The Road! I was in a funk for a month!

I've been reading a lot more. I got the distinct impression that I'm not nearly as smart as I think I am. I may be book smart in a lot of areas but not enough in any of them to get anywhere in life. I hear reading is one method to kind of get the intellectual juices flowing. That and cannabis which, I'm guessing shouldn't be discussed in this thread. Exercise too.

OMG, I spelled 'exercise' correctly the first time FOR the first time!
