Can you use old boxes to pack stuff in?

If the boxes are still in good shape, you can use them. If the boxes seem worn, it's not a good idea to use them.

I agree with this.

As long as the boxes aren't about to fall apart, you can use them again, Kitty.

Boxes large enough and in good enough condition to be used can be very useful.

Off Topic
I long ago began accumulating moving boxes and happily loaned them out to coworkers making local moves. Very often they'd return my boxes plus a few other boxes they no longer needed.

There was a nice gal that I had barely met who was making a local move. I offered to share my boxes—but doing so would require us to meet again so I also offered to take her out to supper.

We've been married for more than 20 years now! :heart: :D

With more detail it gets sillier.

We agreed to meet in a large parking lot where she worked to hand-off the boxes and go to dinner together. A very large parking lot. And it was a couple of months after our initial meeting and wonderful conversation.

And my ASD-1 comes with face-blindness.

I arrived early and stood around by my car hoping she'd find me.

She assures me it was her I was supposed to meet.

I found some old boxes, I had a couple of boxes in my bedroom & twos boxes in my closet, one of the boxes has my DVDs, CDs & I used to have some cassette tapes, the box seems to look good.
