Why does the Ms. Frizzle drive the school bus during field trips? When classes go on field trips the teacher is a passenger on the bus. There's a bus driver that drives the bus.

Why doesn't Ms. Frizzle get fired? Her class goes on field trips everyday and there's never any permission slips for them. And she takes the kids to dangerous places.

If you don't know this already, the show is based off of a popular series of children's books of the same name. There is nothing meant to be realistic about the books and the show.

Yes, Miss Frizzle is an eccentric, but there is nothing immoral when the class goes on a field trip with her.
