Hello,
I write because I need your opinion about a fact happened to my sister's daughter living in USA.

My granddaughter is a 12 years old girl and her parents have called the police because she has a bad behavior and stole their money for the umpteenth time.

When a male officer is arrived in the house, he went in the girl's bedroom with the parents.

My granddaughter was in the bed with only a towel because she was going to do a shower, so the officer ordered her to dress and follow he and parents in police station.

After she refused many times to dress, the officer told that she was under arrest and grabbed her arms for handcuffing her, causing that the towel fell down and she remained naked.

My granddaughter was trying to resist arrest, giving some kicks at the officer and hitting him in face with a object she had on the night stand, at that point the officer sat on the bed pulling the girl on the bed to handcuff her, but she instead fell over his knee.

The cop held her in that way without hitting her, he have only handcuffed her arms and asked at parents to take daughter's clothes and dress her while he was holding her over his knee in front them.

The girl became calm while was over officer's knee, because she was embarrassed to being in the "spanking's position" in front her parents, but at least after they went in police station without problem.

I would want to understand if the officer have done his job or if he did something of wrong.

Thanks,
Rose

Is this a real post? This is messed up and should be reported.

I feel traumatized after reading it. If it really happened, I would hope the family reported the officer to his higher ups and then took the girl to counseling. This is no way to behave.

If this kind of thing kept going on in a family the family needs education on better dealing with children.

Again. This is disturbing and should be looked at by a moderator to make sure the post is from an actual person with a real problem.

It sounds like the girl was refusing the officer & he was doing his job as best he could while she was fighting him

The point is that my granddaughter was very embarrassed to be bend over officer's knee with her bare bottom upwards in "spanking position" in front her parents.

So I would want to understand if police officer had the right to hold the girl in "spanking position" in front her parents during arrest in that case.

She should of been embarrassed to be arrested while she was only wearing a a towel & complied with the officer when he ordered he to get dressed & not fought him.

I find this post to be troll-ish at best, completely stupid and pointless at worse.

If its real, the cop didn't have much choice if she offered resistance and even if the cop did do something wrong, maybe she'll learn not to be disrespectful towards authority cause they can basically get away with anything. Its kinda like following this philosophy, "do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup".

IP's don't seem to match any known trolls or troublemakers.
