I like wheat beers if they are not too "wheaty." I like the ones that have a warm, mellow taste. They are thick yet smooth.

I was in the grocery store looking at the beer selection, and I bought a 6-pack of "Widmer Hefeweizen." It is surprisingly good. If you like beer you should try this.

G'day.

When I was young I liked many exotic beers. But something has changed with age, and now my fave is good old Miller.

I'm American and they keep trying to push off light beer here. The stuff tastes like goat piss. I want real beer, not beer that I have once recycled.

I like Yeungling... It's a bit light though.

I prefer hard stuff anyway. Liquors.

In the US you have to go with something from a microbrewer. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, brewed in Chico, CA, is good. So is Anchor Steam, brewed in SF. Can't go wrong with those two. If you can't get one of those, Sam Adams isn't bad.

Theakston's Mild, Best Bitter and Old Peculier
Coniston Old Man Ale
Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Dark Mild
Dick Turpin
Lancaster Bomber
Bitter and Twisted
Hydes Dark Mild

:)

There's a few to be getting on with. All English ales though.

You Brits are making me really thirsty. All I have in the house is cheap vodka. Hmm...

You can get some real ales in bottles but they won't be cheap. Some of the real ales we get here can be a bit insipid, like Flowers IPA and (eugh!) Greene King IPA.

I simply avoid alcholic beverages at all costs. The only beer I drink is Diet A&W Rootbeer.
