What do you think about Kidz bop? They take a lot of the songs and change the lyrics to where the song often no longer makes any sense.

Song by Icona Pop - I love it.

The song lyrics. "I crashed my car into the bridge. I watched, I let it burn."

Kidz bop lyrics. "You drove your car across the bridge/ I watched, you let it turn".

Song by The Wanted - Glad you came

The songs lyrics. ""Hand you another drink, drink it if you can..."

Kidz bop lyrics. "hand you another dance, dance it if you can..."

The Kidz bop version doesn't make sense.

If I like a song, I like hearing them sing it. But I don't like how they change the lyrics.

Sounds like they are trying to "clean up" the lyrics, and it doesn't come out quite right.

I like music that offends the senses,

I hate censored songs and turn off music that is censored, I like darker angry music cause it lets out my rage and frustration and best of all I like it LOUD.

Hollywood Undead for the win basically but yeah growing up I used to listen to my brothers Eminem CDs that were censored and honestly I thought the lyrics were worse sometimes than they were. Speaks volume to my sanity.

I like the original songs but don't care for the kids singing them. I think pop singers keep getting younger & younger to the point where they will be younger than the kidz bop kids or the kiz bop kids would be the new pop stars while they're doing kidz bop.

When I was a kid I got a cassette tape of Mini Pops, where kids sang tunes that were popular in the 70's and 80's. It's mostly recently popular songs now, isn't it? Recently made songs completely suck. No talent or originality at all, and they think the only way to get people to listen to such trash is by being as offensive as possible and swear constantly.

Of course they have to make the lyrics more kid friendly so the parents won't freak. Because children are impressionable and innocent - or so I've heard.

The kids probably heard the songs before they sang em sense they're popular songs. The kids wouldn't be singing them if they weren't popular with kids.

Changing the lyrics can lead kids listening to Kidz Bop thinking those are the actual lyrics to the song and then they get made fun of at school for singing the wrong lyrics to the songs.
