Widespread awareness has begun and tolerance is all lost during these recent developments on YouTube. From fraud to abuse of their automated copyright system to silencing criticism and free speech and contacting support for answers has been scarce.

I Hate Everything had his channel taken down, Channel Awesome lost their monetization for some time, and lots of other channels have been effected. I'm glad I dropped uploading and moved to a better site before things got really really bad.

What happens if you just reupload the same video that got taken down? lol

I've seen plenty of reuploaded videos get taken down.

None of the videos I've uploaded have been taken down. They must be really boring, lol.

That depends. What have you posted? How old are your videos? How many people watch?

To fall under the radar when you've got people in Hollywood looking for content to take ad revenue away or to just plain remove, publishing rights collective frauds looking for stuff they can claim at will (even created commons and public domain stuff and in rare occasions complete silence and nothing happening), claims caused by algorithm errors, Fine Bros. and Shining Force copyright incidents, people censoring and silencing opinions they don't agree with, and a broken dispute system that declares us the loser by default each and every time, you must be considered the luckiest of us all.

Ive noticed that a lot of TV episodes I used to watch there are now blocked in the US. Is this why?

Also, they aren't bothering people's original content stuff are they? I subscribe to a lot of makeup and hair and vintage and pinup fashion channels and i don't want to lose them. They are letting makeup gurus still do their thing, right?

For makeup and hair vintage and other original content, the worst I see happening to that is publishing rights collective frauds putting claims to take ad revenue. They are very annoying and very tough to deal with. I had to deal with them a lot back when I still uploaded. I know who the real copyright holders were, but it's not like an automated system really cares and those Copyfrauds will fight to keep their claims. They won't take any videos down or go to court because they're not that stupid.

I hate the ads, they are especially annoying when listening to a music playlist. Have to click skip the ad every five minutes.

I actually bought the YouTube red subscription. I mainly did that because I found out I can watch YouTube on my TV through my roku so its much eaiser to pay ten bucks a month to not deal with it.

As a misophoniac, what I hate most about ads are the ones that feature the sounds I don't like and it goes on for 30 seconds with no skip.
