I allmost got scammed for £190!! !

I bought a nintendo Wii off ebay with tons of games and stuff for 190£, but my moms money too pay for it did't come through (Still has't, stupid bank..) But after two days loads of people messaged her warning her not too pay, it was all a huge scam, the guy had 10K+ 100% good feedback, but he was hacked! Jesus crist, i'm glad my mom did't get the money right now, otherwise i would not ever have the chance too get a Wii.

I actually tried to warn ebay of a specific security vulnerability that goes beyond opertunist phishing. They just ignored it. I don't think anything has changed (will have to check). This is problem that has been know for over a year and nothing has been done about it. What's more it is totally avoidable, and a bit of a pointless functionality.

They don't care.

Personally i never trust eBay because of things like this.
i haven't seen any major savings myself, i find that if you go the right retail shops at the right time you save just as much

Sellers with bad feedback and scammers are adding thousands of false transactions and false positive feedback to their accounts in order that their rating goes up to over 99%.
DON`T TRUST EBAY FEEDBACK!

omg. i would never drop cash like that on a game system, (no offence) isnt there something esle you can buy? or do you really like games?

This is why I never buy my video games that way.
