For those of you who don't know what the Devil's Kettle Falls are, it's hard to explain, please look it up then come back.

I have a couple ideas to figure out where it goes.

Idea 1: Divert the water.
So in this idea, scientists temporarily block off the water to the kettle and watch lakes, ponds, streams, and rivers for a decrease in water level/water speed. Also with the tunnel now dry, they could send a flying drone in to take a look.

Idea 2: Neutrinos.
Since neutrinos normally pass through solids unaffected, if we sent a durable, waterproof, neutrino emitter down the falls, we could track the path of the water using a neutrino detector.

Idea 3: Radar.
So in this idea, scientists use high power, ground penetrating radar to map the kettle and follow it along.

So do you guys think any of these could work and what ideas do you guys have?

Simplest would be to just dump a drum of non-toxic food coloring in and wait to see if it shows up anywhere.

The neutrino xmtr idea sounds feasible but I imagine it could easily get caught somewhere. So it might take a few tries. How much do they cost?

Theyve tried dumping coloring dye many times. And dumping ping-pong balls, and GPS trackers.

Yeah I saw something about there being ping pong balls and gps trackers stacked up somewhere. Didn't know they tried the dye though.

May have to be a volunteer.

LOL I bet there's some mole people living down there and they're all like "The #@X$? Why are they throwing stuff down here?"

P.S. I don't actually believe the mole people thing.
