Do people here hate doing laundry?

I also hate doing laundry. I have to do it by hand because I've managed to lose yet another laundry card. I don't want to put $20 on a card every month, so I'll keep doing it by hand from this point on.

I hate doing laundry but love having clean clothes once it is all done.

I have no problem with the actual act of doing laundry because I don't bother sorting it or folding it, but I do have to overcome my executive functioning problems in order to get it done which is hard.

I like doing laundry, especially hand washing.

I like sorting the clothes and hanging them out in the proper groups with colour coded pegs.
Then I like folding them precisely and putting them away.

I actually get stressed if someone else does the laundry.
I get anxiety watching them put the wrong colours in together and scrunch the clothes into the washing basket.
Sometimes I need to sneak out and adjust the hanging, with the right colour pegs.

I'm a bit OCD with washing.

I don't mind, but it's time-consuming. :?
Less so if I'm just doing mine.

I really like doing my laundry, I didn't even know how to turn a washing machine on until I rented places and I found out piling your crud into a spinning contraption so they come out damp and smelling fragrant and hanging them up is quite appealing, there is a clean comfort in the process.

Toss clothes into washing machine, toss in tide pod, close door, press start, walk away. It's one of the household chores that is easier to do for me than others. I sometimes don't like hanging up the laundry, so it may sit in the machine for up to a day before I get around to hanging it up. I do however, absolutely loathe ironing clothes.

I can't say that I like it, but it's a heck of a lot better than having smelly dirty clothes, so I do my laundry at least once a week. In my old apartment I had to drag my clothes to the laundromat or wash them at my parent's house, but my new apartment is big enough to hold a washer and dryer. Now if only I could have a dishwasher so I wouldn't have to hand-wash all my dishes... which I absolutely despise.

I only have to do two smallish loads anyway, not piles and piles of soiled clothing like when I was still living with my parents and at a group home.

I would rather iron and fold clothes than wash and dry hang them.

I dislike ironing a lot more. I have some clothes that are part polyester that don't need to be ironed much, if it all.

I also dislike dishes. My new place has a dishwasher, but it's too filthy to use right now. I'm going to have to clean it soon, so I can start using it.

Laundry is one of my least favourite things to do, ever. I actually don't mind sorting it and throwing it in the washing machine, but that's as far as it goes. I really dislike having to hang it up to dry, or fold or hang up to put away. I usually have big piles of clean laundry sitting around because I don't want to put them away. I'm really not sure why I find it so difficult.

I don't mind doing laundry because it's pretty easy & simple but I hate having to go to the laundromat to do it. The place is close but it's pricey & I hate having to wait around for a couple hours with not much to do. My girlfriend hates it more because she has anxiety issues with being out around people.

Laundry is the only housework I manage to stay on top of - sorting things into lovely little piles and just pushing the buttons.

Ironing, however, kills me. Fine motorics not up to it.

No... but lol thanks for the reminder - I put laundry on and have to flip it over into the dryer! Forgot about that.
