Odd thoughts run through my mind...
What if words changed their meaning over time without us realizing why, but with a specific purpose?
Like the word Wyrd used to mean to have control over your fate or destiny, then it morphed into weird(it did not mean back then what it does now) with the witches in macbeth, then it was used as a derogatory term and now the word weird is changing yet again to be more acceptable in the way of artists etc.
Or the word wired and how it has a double meaning and can be in relation to the wires in electronics etc, or how we as a society are becoming wired (metaphorically) to them.
Will one day the word weird and wired join together because we have the possibility for us as a species to change our fate or destiny through technology?
Don't mind me I'm an odd one with odd thoughts self diagnosed with a language LD, if you could see it in my mind as I do, perhaps you would understand what I'm talking about;)
Does anyone else ever think about weird things they think no one else would understand?
^I always think weird and Wyrd things. Nice to find a fellow Wyrdo.
