I'm a researcher at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and I'm interested in finding out more about how people with and without autism interpret language. For that, I'm looking for people with and without autism to participate in an online experiment.

The experiment takes about an hour, and you'll be sent an Amazon Gift Certificate worth 8 dollars in return.

Anyway, Autism Spectrum disorder here, mostly on the high function side but I have my problems.

Also I have no idea what you want me to do, do you want me to email you? Do you want me to PM you? It was semi clear in the first post but as the thread carries on it becomes less clear. If you want me to email you then what kinda of privacy do you offer in return? How do I know my email address won't be shared?

I asked the owner of the site for permission for posting this and he said it was alright, as long as there would be no crossposting on other forums. (I don't know if he's reading these posts to confirm.)

You're right to be concerned about privacy. However, I can assure you that your data will never be shared with anyone. (I'd be in serious trouble with the university I work at if I did). But, if you want to be on the safe side, you can use the PM service here or --- what I usually do --- create another email address. However, I'll need an email address to send the Gift Certificate to. Again, that email address will never be shared with anyone and will be permanently erased from the server after the data has been collected.

I just had a look and I can also send the claim code for the Amazon gift card by personal message here on the forum. So it's not necessary to provide your email address.
