Why are Beavis and Butthead so dumb?

They had a beeper and when it started beeping they picked it up and said hello instead of dialing the number. They were in the Hoover Dam, got into the control room with the screens and thought that they were watching TV.

I once read that Mike Judge wouldn't let his young daughter watch the show because he didn't want her to think all guys were like Beavis and Butt-Head. I used to watch it on Much Music in Canada, even though I probably lost some brain cells doing so. :oops:

I really didn't like it when they hurt or killed frogs or other small animals. One episode they heard something on TV about dolphins choking to death on balloons, so they bought a bunch of balloons and took them to a water park hoping the dolphins would choke. They were just carrying the balloons watching dolphins perform, not letting them loose over the ocean where dolphins might swallow them.

I watched the show until MTV quit showing reruns & i found their stupidity pretty funny.

Because stupidity is what that show is built around. I used to watch it when it was first on TV in the 90s.

Mike Judge is a funny mind. Just didn't get King if the Hill AT ALL, but Office Space and Idiocracy were two of the funniest true satirical movies ever.

Beavis and Butthead, as well as Family Guy, King of the Hill, American Dad, The Simpsons, etc. are good examples of the saying "You can't fix stupid."

Beepers were the "in thing" amongst people in the 1990s, just before cell phones became really popular.
