headlight shiny through the window

when I was a kid, whenever I was in the house at night, I remember when cars drove my the house, the headlights would shine through the windows and project an image of the window on the wall and the projection would move along the wall until the car passed by. Whenever I saw that, it used to really scare me. Did that used to sacare you too?

Sometimes, if the projection reminded me of something scary. But usually I just liked watching it, like clouds.

I cant remember being scared by it, except it would make some shadows appear deeper. Any extra light has always been a relief at night.

It used to excite me and captivate me when that happened. I'd keep my eyes open, waiting for the next one.
