Sorry, op, but that quoted comment got me in stitches! thanks for the well needed laugh!

OP check the email string, if it is a .gov of some sort then there might be some legitimacy behind it, however i feel it could be a spam email, however without seeing the full email string from whom it was sent by, i can only say it speculatively :)

Thankfully I've never had emails like that.
^You live in New Zealand! That's epic! I want to live there. :)

lol, thats a big ask!... its a beautiful place, much fewer people, but like anywhere it has its ups and downs, dont fall in love with an ideology that may not actually exist, you may be disappointed! if anything it may be worth a 6 week visit first to get a feel of the place, 6 weeks minimum as there are many areas to see and visit and all are rather unique! The biggest issue many overseas people have is the distance from families overseas, they are able to often handle the first year but after that reality sinks in and they return back to their original countries... Not trying to put a downer on things, but as much as i like lord of the rings to, its not exactly the same as the movie here, but i guess you get that! lol... However it is beautiful, and you can travel hours on a road and not pass a single car, i love the remoteness of NZ, but many cant handle it! If you ever want to know anything about this country im happy to oblige in any information i can share with your good self! :)

I get e-mails from Nigerians, Africans, and people who seem to have a need to transfer large somes of money from one location to another, with e-mail addresses or handles from free-service accounts, and I view modern-day money as being as worthless as toilet-paper ! :D

^I agree, except that I think toilet paper is more useful than money [for obvious reasons  ].

I get lots of emails from politicians who live in different states than I live. I get them because I sign LOTs of petitions & letters to politicians from political & other organizations. Sometimes I get over 200 emails a day from political & other activist things. Move than half is donation request & there's lots of news letters that just get deleted like the donation requests.
