I used to find rainy days better in all respects. Now I'm all mainstream and I'm happier on sunny days.

But watching the rain - that is calming and oddly fascinating. Whether it's bands of rain drifting across the distance or beads running down the window or drops splashing off the paving.

Yes, very much so! I love rain and rainy days ( and nights). Rain is calming and soothing.

It's sunny days that make me feel bad. The heat erally gets to me and now we've had nothing but for days which really puts me ina bad mood and makes me really lethargic

I had to click on this to find out what 'Pluviophile' was. It is rather anti-climatic. It sounded more sinister.

I like rain in small doses, but if it lasts too long I find it depressing. Sun and being outside is what I mostly thrive on. But it is more enjoyable when there has been rain. Too much sun is withering.

Listening to rain helps me concentrate, and relax.

Two rainy things from my childhood - riding my bike in a waterproof cape, lovely.

The sound of water gurgling in a cast iron drain pipe - lovely.

The drumming of rain on an umbrella, and the sense in the back of an old London style cab, especially with perforated leather.
