I think alex should make a rule against these "random member" threads because of these two things:

1. They're really annoying.
2. I always feel left out on most of these threads. :(

Um, this is the 'Random Discussion' forum. If you don't like them, you don't have to go near them.

you don't post much on them. most of the people mentioned post a lot on them.

Because I'm always busy with other stuff. Also, I don't know many members here.

I think trying to restrict free speech is annoying.

you shouldn't feel left out because of it though. they are meant for fun for members, not to make anyone feel bad, and people who post regularly in them are easy targets...

Royger, I'm on your side on this one.
I won't say anything bad about them.
But I will tell you that I know how you feel,
so you're not the only one.

Also, maybe you could try to avoid the
threads that bother you. That's
what I do

I think the "random member" threads are good interaction for us aspies. Just hang around the forums when you have free time and read other people's posts. That way you'll become more familiar with them.

It sure would be nice if there was a forum on WP for non-AS-related discussion that didn't have all these nonsensical threads in them. This Random forum is just like that Monty Python sketch where it's impossible to have any kind of meaningful discussion, due to all the raucus "Spam spam spam" going on.
