I never EVER got the hiccups and I done a bit of research on it. It basically comes down to good natural breathing :)

I get them now though, but I found out it's because I'm having a baby and my lungs are moving to make room!!

So there you go :D you all are good at breathing lol bizarre or what!!

Not since I was a child. It has been more than 30 years then.

I do make a hiccup sound when I burp, but only when I am alone.

I get hiccups once in a decade, pretty much.

Actualy, I think my breathing should improove. I don't feeI that I get enough oxygine somehow.

I rarely get them and it usually only happens after drinking too much.

I usually never have hiccups, but for some reason today from about mid afternoon right on into night time have been getting weird random hiccups, sporadically every few minutes. Kept getting paranoid when I hiccupped a few times that I actually had hiccups, but didn't. You'd think it would be more common in autism given gastrointestinal issues.

When I drink too fast and then realize I am drinking too fast these jittery swines seem to creep into my throat and nest until I stop thinking about having hiccups, I do everything to exorcise them but they don't dwindle until I do nothing about them, they are a creepy disease and I want to throw poisoned pitchforks into their stinking pond or wherever they spring out from.

I hate getting hiccups. Each hiccup makes me jump, so if I know I have the hiccups I take a really deep breath and hold it 'til I almost pass out, and if that doesn't work I quickly drink a pint of water or juice.

Luckily I don't often get hiccups.

I used to get them fairly often but I don't get em too much nowadays cuz I take a med for my GERD(Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) & I take the antipsychotic Haldol/Haloperidol(t's occasionally used for a certain type hiccups). It's a good thing I don't get em often nowadays cuz they usually last 20 to 40 minutes.

I often hiccup a few times right after eating a meal, even though I usually don't eat too fast. But I very seldom get hiccups from anything else, or they don't last long. Sometimes though, I will get a hiccup suddenly and quite painfully when nearly asleep, and it jolts me awake and my heart's pounding like I just had a nightmare. I HATE that!

It's embarrassing to just be talking about this. But at least it's not as embarrassing as burping, which my dad does with great force after he eats. His excuse is that in Italy they do that to show thanks. So I asked my mother if they heard the locals doing it at meals when they went to Venice a few years back. She said they didn't. Ha, another ignorant stereotype, I thought so!

But I digress. I do that a lot, don't I? :?
