Say you were given six months to live.
What things would you really want to do (providing you are well enough) before you die?

Get a Round the World Ticket, and travel the world.

Personally and honestly I would obliterate myself myself with drugs but I don't want you to do that.

So my second choice would be to steal a car and give the finger to the cops... oh wait...

I think travailing the world might be safer but I really would probably go down guns blazing. I'd rob a bank and give to the poor and no power in the verse could stop me. Until I was stopped but it would feel amazing up until then and nothing would take me alive.

^ :D

I was going to say if there's anything on your bucket list you should do it NOW.
Don't wait!
But I don't really want you shot up by the cops, lol.

If not getting shot at by the police then you aren't doing it right.

I always wanted to see Bring Me The Horizon live in concert.
I booked the tickets, hotel, train in January.
The concert is 2 weeks away.
I don't know if I'll be well enough to go.

This line of thinking might come across slightly offensive but have you considered using your position to meet Oliver Sykes? Think about it this way for a second, your autistic and your dying. What artist would turn down an opportunity to get social recognition for doing something good in the community. Write them, ping the hell out of them with emails. Make your situation known and say you would like to see them before dying. I can't picture them saying no consistently. Use what you have as an advantage, you deserve some awesomeness.

Honestly I don't know what I'd do if knew I only had six months to live. It'll feel empty and pointless anyway, and I'm not a kid so I can't tell the Children's Wish Foundation I'd like to go to Disney World or swim with dolphins.

I don't think I would want to meet him on any terms.

the only proper bucket list item I can think of is just to win big in the lotto so I could afford to live in that Cliffside mansion I ogled a few years back on a trip to pacific beach, high on a bluff overlooking the beach and the pacific ocean. I would, every night, go out onto the veranda and look out at sunset over the waters, and feel the warm evening summer breezes blow through my hair and see the golden red orb dip below the horizon, and hear the distant surf, and all would be right in my world.

and what's the point if it becomes a pity party. you'll have more than enough of it in private already. the point is to celebrate your life instead, right?

if i had a partner, i would ask her what would be her bucket list. spending quality time together would be my number zero priority

if i didn't have a partner, then i have to admit there would probably be sex workers involved. it's not like i'd have any reason to worry about std's, right? and i'd probably smoke a lot of weed. it's not like i'd be throwing away my future. and i'd guilt someone into playing ping-pong with me. and yes, i would definitely travel a lot

i recommend easter island as a start. it's good any time of the year. but if you're going there then do it right. rent a bike :)

I would like to set up something to help animals on an ongoing basis after I am gone, even if it only helped one animal at a time. A small philanthropic entity.

6 months? I'd see all my favourite people and do some kiteboarding in tropical destinations around the world.

Real life?

Those things, plus start the business I want, make money, buy my father his dream car, finance medical studies & support homeless LGBT youth. etc.

You know, I kind of hate the phrase "bucket list". In fact I saw it on a list of words that have been "banished". I know it's based on the old saying "kick the bucket", but I get a mental image of a real bucket with a list inside it.

Sure are a lot of funny sayings for dying. "Kick the bucket", "Pushing up daisies", "The eternal dirt nap"... but there's really nothing funny about death, I can tell you that. :skull:

Such a great answer.

I would surround myself with people who made me laugh and spend everyday with friends or family. I always liked nature and going for walks away from the city. I'd probably go on lots of road trips to national parks and such. I've been to Sequoia National Park and it was amazing, there a literally trees with 30+ diameter. It felt like a wonderland, if you dropped some shrooms or something you just might find yourself being Alice.
