I just got. 13.2 cts :D

The one in my profile picture is over 28 cts and is from Radomilice.

In the last two years the price of this material has gone way up, this stuff is all going to China and only one operational mine is left in Southern Bohemia: Chlum Nad Malší

Get one now before this is a thing of the past!

Oooh, reminds me, this is one stone I don't have a piece of yet.. someday I'll see a piece I want at a local shop or gem fair and pick one up for sure. 8)

Thanks man! Yeah you should defintley pick one up next time but beware of fakes. There are alot in the market, if it looks too good to be true it probably is. Geniune Moldavite will have tiny almost micoscopic air bubbles, and what looks like strings, lines or spagehtti noodles in them which, is actually melted quartz.

Good luck!
