I just read the description for this board.

For non-Asperger's related random discussion. Talk about anything and everything not covered in the other forums here. From shoes and ships and sealing wax, to cabbages and kings!

I really don't want offend anyone but how in the hell can you say anything positive about cabbages.

They are the devils spawn - pure and unadulterated evil.

I would rather slide down a rusty blade naked using my b*lls as brakes than eat some cabbage

It doesn't say you need to discuss positive things about cabbages.
Look, you're talking about them now!

I have written a story that I would like to share:

There once was a king named Cabbage, who built ships out of shoes and sealing wax.

Thank you.

I relatively detest brussel sprouts which to me are the vertically challenged version of cabbages. Ironically i used to pick them and eat the raw from the neighbors garden as a kid but didnt like them cooked for some odd reason. Each Christmas i tend to still avoid them on the plate. As with anything its all down to your individual taste buds and what one person sensory experiences it isnt the same for another. Like i cant get my head round how people seem to love Stilton (moldy) cheese. Each person is unique and like the color red how do we know we are all seeing the same color in the same way. Same goes for taste. :)

Moldy cheese is some sort of sick joke made up by a sadist. If cabbages were bombs , brussel sprouts would be the shrapnel.

[sarcasm] Why would someone name their kid cabbage , did they want them to be bullied and beaten up in school [/sarcasm]

You can make sauerkraut out of cabbages.

You can also make the lovely concoction known as cole slaw.

It's based off of the the poem "The Walrus and the Carpenter" by Lewis Carrol. In Through The Looking-Glass, Alice listens to the poem told to her by Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee.

If you don't eat your cabbage, you may end up having to get a CABG.
