If you can have any kind of superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have any superpower I wanted, I'd choose Electric Manipulation. Electro has always been my favorite Spider-Man villain (I even liked The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Elle Bishop was a favorite of mine from Heroes. My reasoning for wanting Electrical Manipulation is that it actually has multiple purposes when you think about it hard enough. First is offensively. Being able to shoot lightning from your fingertips is beyond Awesome. Second is defensively. You could just use the electricity to create an energy field around you to block any attacks. Third is for transportation. Electro has shown that being able to manipulate electricity not only allows you to fly, but also travel through outlets and power lines. Finally, if your laptop, phone, whatever has a low battery, you could charge it up in no time with just one finger.

I think if I could choose any superpower, I'd probably choose the ability to mind control, so that way I could get people to listen to the same music I do!

It's a tough choice between telekinesis & mind control. Telekinesis would be good because I could move things to me instead of getting up to get them. Mind control would be good for when I'm dealing with difficult people like customer service reps & managers who don't want to help me & I could also use it to get the iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove to go out with me.

Teleportation would be awesome.
That way I can leave when anything gets bad and just run out when I'm feeling overwhelmed. It'd be incredibly easy to get to a safe spot where I can just chill, and also incredibly easy to avoid people.

It'd also be useful for getting around a small area. No more being late to class, just poof! I'm there. Don't have to carry books up and down the stairs.

I have to admit, teleportation was a close second in my mind.

I'd like the ability to go out of body and braid my own hair . I'm so good at other people's, but I can't for the life of me do my own with anything beyond a basic plait.

Seriously though I don't know, super powers are too hard to decide. I think they'd make me even lonelier.

I'd want the abilities of Charlie from Sync, being able to have multiple bodies and download to whatever one I want. These bodies could even be robotic which would be awesome.

Scratch that, I got a better idea. Being able to decide the observed outcome of the collapse of quantum probability waves. It sounds pretty lame, but I could use that to make literally any quantum possibility happen including quantum tunneling myself anywhere I want, making any object materialize in front of me, making anything spontaneously explode, and generally being almost omnipotent.

Mind control, most definitely. Flight and pyrokinesis would be cool too.

My superpower would be to give love to everyone in the Universe. Super kitty!

I'd be interested in the two boring ones a lot of people talk about choosing between: flying, and being invisible!

I'm more eager for the ability to fly, and only want the invisibility so that I can be invisible when flying -- because imagine the headlines and notoriety if anyone could actually see me flying!

Or maybe my superpower should be that I just transfigure into a bird -- then I could fly all I wanted and nobody would be shocked.

Mind control is one I fantasize about sometimes. In the fantasy it lets me do whatever I want. Like if I want to walk into the Oval Office of the White House and join in on a meeting, they'd let me. Or get taken on a complete tour of Area 51. Test drive the most expensive cars in the world as much as I want. Total supreme VIP access to everything.

Being able to fly around whilst invisible is another one.

Unlimited ability to heal my loved ones and myself, so none of us would suffer or succumb to disease or injury.
Having at least one incident of clairvoyance so I could land a big lottery win, huge enough to give me and my family security for life, even enough to move and still be safe for life, and able to get the books, games and DVDs I want, and treat my loved ones well, and donate to turtle organizations.
I also wouldn't mind mind control so I could stop anyone who meant us harm, and I would make people stop killing endangered species and commit cruelty against animals. I would force politicians to change the law that forbids reptiles here.

My superpower would be invisibility. I would use it for societal purposes.

indestructible skeleton... just seems practical in certain ways, like that you could raise your forearm and stop a club/bat/pipe without breaking the arm, or fall/jump/drop from reasonably higher places without shattering your legs.

I wish I could just teleport anywhere, then I could go to London any time I want to and I could go to any special events anywhere around the world like in my own home town.
