Why do women do this to each other sometimes?

In bars or nightclubs when I see drunk girls making a spectacle of themselves other women smile at them warmley.

Can you tell me why women do this to each other?

I'm a woman and even I can't tell you why they do that. I don't even drink alcohol or go to bars, and I think it's disgusting when they make drunken idiots of themselves.
