Why should I leave this be?

I was walking around the block earlier and some little girls shouted at me from across the road "hey weirdo man at me" a few times.

I feel furious right now and want to go round to there house and complain about them.

Can you give me some reasons as to why I should just leave this be?

1. They are just little girls.

2. Their bad behavior says lots about them and nothing about you.

3. If you go off on them or their parents\guardians, someone may call the cops.


I don't like being called names or Othered either. I have written nasty poetry (in a fictional manner) about people I am angry at and gotten it published. Very very satisfying.

Cops don't care who is right, they do care when they are bothered.

They have better things to do then deal with an offended person and they will let you know it however unjust it maybe.

If your a grown man who behaves in a slightly odd way then it's very easy to get labelled a weirdo or pervert isn't it?

Pretty much,

Some people are born without arms, some people are born with autism, being a weirdo is what bowl of cherries you have been given. I think it sucks too. You will always have people hate different groups of people or believe in stereotypes. You have to ignore these people, especially little girls that probably were not raised right anyway.

Just an immature child is more a reflection on the parents… You knocking on their door complaining about some crappy child would bring lots of unwanted attention to yourself. They could and most likely get angry toward you, before their own child. The police would most likely side with them; if they come up with a over top fictional story. So I would side on caution and just ignore the brat.
