Bought myself two zip up cardigans just before Christmas. A bad buy . Wore one and unzipped it but now can't zip it up again. Tried unzipping the other one to try it on and the zip got stuck half way. Wrote a stinking review of one. Couldn't with the other as clicking on the product link takes me to a completely different item!

Then had a thought, that maybe it's dyspraxia related. I seem to have had more than my fair share of problems with zips.

I've heard that if you rub a bar of soap over the zip, it helps it work better.

A few years ago, the zip broke on my favourite jeans, so I cut it out and sewed a stretchy, knitted square where the zip used to be to replace it with. I thought it would work sort of the same as a zip, but it didn't, and I think I had to throw them out.

Zippers drive me crazy. I can relate to what you're saying.
