Someone in real life meatspace recognized me from my avatar here on wp. A bit unexpected, but no big deal, really.

They sometimes work at a place I party at & were working there for new years. They've seen me a few of times with totally different coloured hair over the last year and a half or so and put 2 and 2 together from my avatar. They were busy working and I was on a mission to party it up all night so we didn't chat for tooo long about it, but it was kinda nice, really.

I suppose it may have been a little more random and awkward if it was someone I had never met before, but since it's been a handful of times & they're someone I remember it wasn't weird at all.

Just thought I'd share.
