Is there people here that on SSI?

I am on SSI and currently undergoing a phone battle to try and get my full amount back...basically my bills for cost of living have increased if anything and they want to lower my amount. So I gotta go talk to them and tell them I am paying 400 for living costs and giving me an income of 495, gives me a dollar and 16 cents a day isn't going to cut it.

I wish I can pay 400 for living. Has your SSI ever been late? My SSI goes directly into my bank account on the 1st every month or the following Friday, I didn't get it today.

That's odd. I was on it for years; I'm on SSDI now & both were always on time or early. My girlfriend's sister got her SSI today; she paid me back $20 she borrowed Monday; my girlfriend should have her SSI too. Perhaps your bank just hasn't updated it in the system. I'd be concerned if you don't have it tomorrow thou.

I didn't get it today, I have to call them. I hate talking to them, when I'm on the phone with them, I have to wait up to 45 minutes. This happened before, I hope it not the same.

That's very odd. Their system shouldn't be screwing up like that & if it's not a screwup with the system they should of sent you a letter explaining why you wouldn't get it.

I applied for SSI a few days ago and should get a reply within the next 2-5 months.

I didn't get my money cuz I miss my medical review.

I still haven't gotten my SSI, I been calling the woman, but she been out or in a meeting

You may have to have the medical review before they give it to you again but I'm not really sure how that works. I never missed a review.
