I worked at WalMart for over two years & noone cared when the buzzers when off while people were leaving the store even if the people didn't have a bag in their hand. I worked overnight thou so perhaps people cared more in the daytime.

I've heard that in some stores they always think teenagers are going to steal and they're biased towards them, but if an person stole something people think it's only because they need the item but can't afford it and feel sorry for them. I think that's baloney, shoplifting is wrong no matter who does it. :shameonyou:

I even heard on TV one time that there is a thing called organized shoplifting, and it's made me a little nervous about what I buy at the flea market. 8O
