It's come to my attention that it's time to replace the tires on my car. I have no idea how to go about doing this. I mean, obviously I buy them and have the garage put them on, but how do I know which tires will fit on my car? Which ones are worth buying and which ones will blow out as soon as I drive away? My dad usually takes care of this stuff, but he won't help me this time because "You're an adult and need to learn how to do these things on your own," which is reeeeal helpful when I've got no freaking idea where to start. Anybody know how to go about finding out which tires are best for you?

What tyres do you have on your car now?
If they've been ok, you could buy that type again.

go to a garage that specialise in tyres and that stuff, i'm not in the us so i know not how such things are called there, here you've things like <kwik fit><feu vert>
the size of the tyres is marked on the side of the tyres, but at such a garage they know what goes on what too
