meeting other people with Aspergers

my mom thinks meeting other people with aspergers would be helpful because they would know what its like to have it. she thinks i'm in denial about it or that i'm embarrassed by it. i'm not denying or embarrassed by it, i just don't go around broadcasting it. its either you know or you don't. i just don't want to be treated different because i have it.

It's your decision and not your mother's whether or not you should meet other people on the spectrum.
