*hic* right now, I *hic* have the hiccups, as *hic* we call em here in *hic* England. If you can provide a REASONABLE *hic* cure that actually *hic* works, then you may probably *hic* get a reward!! !!

I had hiccups in a lecture a few months ago. It was really annoying though because everyone around me noticed...
I don't know how to get rid of them though. Isn't there one where you have to hold your breathe and drink something?

i always hold my breath when i have the hiccups, it seems to work. sometimes

here are 2 methods i use and do work, breath shallow until gone, the other method is drink soda, (diet or regular)

Someone once told me to imagine the muscle controlling the hiccups relaxing. I thought it was absurd, but it seems to work rather well with me. (It might be a mind control thing though - if you're good at convincing yourself of things it would probably work.)
