eBay, does that count?

Everything I could ever need in one place, with plenty of options for price comparison!

I'm not too good at in-store shopping, but the bigger the better usually. Anywhere I can blend in and get on with things, without feeling like I'm being observed.

In the UK, in a lot of smaller shops the staff will be 'subtly' watching you, I find. Whether that's for any particular reason or just because they're bored and glancing around, I don't know. But it makes it hard to relax and shop.

That said, I found that when I went to the US I was approached almost as soon as I walked into any store. No watching from a distance. They pounced with "Welcome to ____, can I help?", before I'd even had a chance to look around and decide if I actually needed help. Didn't like that experience, either.

I like any store where I can walk in and browse without being bothered or watched. And our local Tesco includes handheld scanners so that I don't even need to speak to someone in order to pay for my groceries. I can shop without speaking to another human being. So, there's my winner!

Thrift shops are my favorites. Not all clothing can or should be bought secondhand, but a good thrift shop offers better quality and costs much less than most new clothing.

As far as chain stores go, I tend to frequent the following:

Waitrose
John Lewis
Fopp
Whole Foods Market
Urban Outfitters
All Saints
Foyles

There's also lots of independent stores that I like to buy from especially record and book stores.

I should go shopping soon since spring is almost here & I need pants that are light & airy, cuz I have psoriasis, I need pants that are comfortable & wont make me hot. Does anyone know where I can get pants that won't get me hot? I have psoriasis on my legs too.
