-it makes my hair stick to my lipstick
-puts my hair out of place after carefully styling it at home
-stings my eyes and makes them go all red as if I was crying
-makes me work harder to walk against it
-blows my purse off my shoulder, constantly having to readjust it
-makes my ears go numb and obnoxiously whistles past them

UGH it puts me in a bad mood

I just got back from going to a coffee place, and up the street from my apartment is always super windy and makes me go through this, even on a very nice day it'll still be a bit breezy.

Does anyone else passionately hate the wind?

I do. I have always passionately hated the wind. Also, it has to be mighty hot for me to let a fan blow directly on me. I also do not like convertible cars to ride in.

I hate the wind and its chill this time of year. It feels like knives going into my skin. I hate the constant blowing and the drafts through my windows. Late at night when I try to sleep it sound more like roaring than just blowing.

But I love a nice breeze in the summer. And I sleep with my fan on when it's hot, I find both the breeze and white noise so soothing that it's hard to adjust to sleeping with it off every fall. Electric fan death? I think not. :)

The thing about the wind that I don't like about the wind is that if the wind's blowing really hard, I can't ride my bike.

puny individual humans cannot hope to tame the elements on their own. you sound ill prepared for the wind and could use some adjustments.

glasses? small backpack that fits snugly to carry your items and not have to readjust them? i will say, the ear thing is curious.

i for one, love the wind. the sound of strong, dry winds (santa anas, firefighter's nemesis) is like music to my ears as i lie in bed with the trees outside rustling. with a little effort, one can imagine that he is in a beachside home, and it is the sound of waves crashing on the surf.

I don't suit glasses or like wearing glasses in general, and a backpack would make me feel like a shoplifter if I go into a store. Hell nawh

There is no way to prepare for a windy day, either I bare with it or choose to stay in- if I have a choice.

I hate the wind when it's cold during winter. I also dislike the wind on warmer days when it nearly blows my baseball cap off my head & I dislike how it blows trash all over the place on recycling days.

Unless the wind is blowing so much that it makes it hard to breathe, I like wind. In summer I hate it when it's not wind to help against the heat.

I hate wind in the winter when it's blowing so hard that the power goes out and I have to go to bed early because there's nothing else to do.

It's hurricane season in the Atlantic now, so we may be in for some *real* wind. And rain. Hopefully no more snow.
Where I live whenever there's a hurricane coming we usually only get it the weakest part of it where I live, although the weather people make it always sound like the end of the world.
