I'm listening a lot to T. Rex right now, particularly The Slider.

Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars by David Bowie.

Me, same as it's been these past 20+ years: A mix of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

They interest me much as it is like Britpop given a grungy twist with touches of all sorts - sometimes when I'm listening to Thick Girls it strikes me as almost like Garbage or The Kinks (you really got me).

Only know 13 tales and a couple of other numbers btw.

German marches, classical music and The Kinks.

Just given "Kings of the Kerb" (Echobelly) a spin. I'm an oldie btw, grew up listening to Velvet Underground.

@antnego - 21st century boy is a defining track, the placebo cover version is pretty excruciatingly damned good as well.

Lately, I've been exploring old school hard rock and metal bands that I've tended to overlook since I first got into this type of music. Mainly been focusing on Deep Purple, Scorpions and Helloween but I've also got better acquainted with Rainbow, Motorhead and Thin Lizzy. I only wish that I properly explored these bands years ago. Better late than never I guess.

T. Rex are my favourite band in the whole wide world (doesn't my username tip you off? ;)). The Slider is a good album, but I like listening to their underappreciated later stuff.

I love Bowie too. Early 70s British glam rock is my favourite genre.

Been listening to a lot of Adam (and the) Ant(s) recently. Love the Burundi beat.

I am into a truckload of music from many different genres, ranging from Oldies but Goodies to Deep House. I'm currently listening to DJ sets which have some great house music, and also some olden music and some relaxing beats (like Nujabes) to top that all off, my music tastes are really mixed 8)
