Did you ever think the word "thunder" was "funder"? Until about 2nd grade, I thought the word was "funder" and then I wrote that down and my teacher told me the word was actually "thunder".

ahh haha yep. until i could read my language was a mess.

Before I was about five, I used to think "finger" was "thinger". I would even angrily "correct" people when I first started to hear the correct pronunciation.
