Work/school check-ups...
...
Out of the few work/school check-ups I've had in the past, my lecturer or boss always tends to bring up my odd mannerisms during the actual check-up itself, even if the actual meeting is about something completely different (a performance report). They usually mention the same things each time, like, not always talking to other coworkers, my distant facial expression, or some tiny social blunder like accidentally walking into the wrong room or occasionally saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. My stereotypies and tics are under control, and my social skills are decent, so all in all, I usually come off as normal save for a few minor quirks.
It probably shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but honestly, I really don't see why some grown ass adult cares about how somebody else acts; this isn't primary school anymore. I'm not perfect, and I don't see why I should be grilled because of some minute social mistake. This issue is made even worse by the fact that I'm already touchy when it comes to criticism.
Just wondering if anyone else here is bothered by this sort of treatment during performance reports with your superiors? I avoid retail/social jobs like the plague and tend to just stick to tech jobs now (which is what I'm good at) because I can't keep up with the unrealistically high social demands that are placed on me.

I have found a job where I spend less than half a day per week in a an office situation. I avoid it at all costs. I am not good at daily chat situations and just try my best to get through them like a fly on the wall when I can't avoid it.
So, my awkwardness is just occasionally seen and does not affect anyone else's work. None of my supervisors has commented.
When you say check-up it sounds like a medical exam to me. Is it medical or solely a work performance appraisal?
Either way, I would think a doctor or a boss would be staying within their scope of supervision to comment on your behavior. Since you have coworkers and apparently work in an office type situation, the social aspect is still there even though its less than a retail job. Maybe your supervisor wants to be sure you are happy and not harboring some ill will towards your coworkers? Maybe all you need to keep saying is... I really like working with my coworkers and all is well and your boss will be reassured.
