My cat Sam will meow and scratch his paw on the floor and then eat it.

I can't remember how Henry used to react on catnip, it was too long ago. He was fluffy and cute though. He had a blue collar.

Cats I've seen on catnip have their heads go shaky-shaky like Jacob's Ladder....

Kidding.

My cat never had catnip, as far as I know. I think we once got her a catnip toy, but she showed no reaction, though she was pretty old by then.

Not all cats like it. I grew a patch in my yard and would pick alot each day and throw it on my front porch for the cats to get loaded on.

All three of them love the stuff. I have a bunch of little catnip toys that they just suck on while rolling around and kicking them with their back feet. It's pretty funny. Sometimes they scratch the carpet if they smell catnip residue in the carpet. That makes me mad.

She sniffs and eats a little of it and then rolls around on it and then she takes a nap.

They usually roll around in it and spread it all over the floor. Then I bring out the vacuum cleaner and the cats scatter.

I usually steal it from the neighborhood cats and smoke it with my cigarettes.

Catnip and tobacco give you a huge kick.

Mine goes nuts when I get it out, and then just eats it and goes to sleep.

Never understood what it was. Turns out it is a plant that creates a sexual response in cats. :o

This is what I do with the neighbors cats...they love it. Have to watch the one though...he gets so high rolling around in it he'll roll off the porch. They figured out were I've planted it already this year...so it's self-serve now.

They won't leave it alone long enough for any of it to go to seed so I've been replanting every year.
