Do you ever do anything to increase your brain power, such as take omega 3/6/9 supplements or play Su-Doku?
Just would like to collect up some interesting tips...

BTW, did you know that flicking your eyes left and right for 1/2 a minute can improve your memory? Its because the activity involves the co-ordination of both sides of the brain. My Dad found that in the newspaper.

I wish to take phosphatidylserine

Problem is it is fairly expensive and most of test are for the cow brain cortex type. Which is banned because of risk prion attack. The fatty acid is not exactly the same in plant derived and that could make all the difference. I've not heard about fish derived, I heard murmurs about antelope brain cortex in Canada. Don't know if that is true. But either way I need to hear from an expert about the risk of prion/viron attack.

I used to play Go (Wei Ch'i) a bit as a kid. I want to get back into it. But my head is suck a mess. I need to talk to some experts about cognitive dysfunction.

There is also a Nintendo DS (or whatever latest version is) game that is being used for seniors and brain injured people. I don't remember the name, though. Apparently I should be using it!! 8O

I don't do much in terms of games, except for the fact that I go to a top school every day where they challenge me to no end with extension work, and that I hate using calculators, and would rather do as much as possible in my head.

I do eat a diet with a good amount of complex carbohydrates, fish and fish oils, as well as the correct vitamins. I take supplements every day.

Also, I've been managing to get 8hrs sleep/day, which is good.

And I never drink coffee. So much so that I've stopped liking the taste. I drink tea instead. :)

Caffeine is a stimulant so if you have go adhd it could help. Though it is not long lasting or particularly targeted.

Apart from omega-3 from fish also nuts are good.

They believe the reasons why human are intelligent primates is because in early humans they couldn’t really hunt wildlife out in the open because of dangerous predators like lions. Apart from scavengers meat would deteriorate fast in the sun. Their only option was to break open bones at night and eat the marrow and brains using tools like rocks and sticks. They have actually found evidence of this in Tanzania where the earliest of humans are found. This high protein rich diet is a good theory as to why we are smart. Unfortunately we are not suited to high protean diets nowadays.

Wow!

I eat the bone marrow when my Mum cooks meat. I also eat all the fish heads at dinner when we have fish. :P

Just makes me feel sick.

I do number puzzles sometimes, though not as much recently.

Sorry about that.

Su Doku is good, although many people hate it.
