Do you ever get stuck in this loop where someone's trying to ask you a question, but you keep misunderstanding and that someone has to keep explaining it to you, more and more slowly? It happens to me sometimes and it makes me feel really stupid...

Probably. I know that I do it on purpose,
so it's probably something that I learned
got laughs somehow.

Well, not with questions, but I get stuck in loops when someone is trying to tell me something. I have to say "What do you mean by that? And what does that have to do with ___(topic). What do you mean when you say it like that? Are you being sarcastic/mad/what are you really saying?"

That is the kind of loop I get stuck in. And it can be SOOOOOOO mentally fatiguing and depressing! This is why I generally try to hang with familiar old friends who don't confuse me. Because when I have to work so hard to understand people it makes me feel depressed! 8O

Don't feel bad, it happens. I see it happen to other people, too. The only thing that I don't like is when it happens to me and after 2-3 times the person gets frustrated with me and yells. No need to yell, it won't make it any easier.

Sure. Usually it's because I'm processing the other person's sentence literally, or because I'm overthinking the matter.

Yes, this happens quite often. I feel slightly less stupid now I know it's an aspie thing.
