I used to like to honk the horn in cars when I was little.

I can't remember if I did or not, but I do remember loving to ride in the car when I was little.

I was never allowed to honk the horn & my parents seldom did.

I accidentally hit the button on my car keys that activated the horn on a couple of occasions and it made me jump out of my skin! I hate when other people's car horns get stuck. It is the most annoying noise.

I actually couldn't stand (and still am bothered by) the sound of car horns. They hurt my ears.

Yes. One of the best things about having my own car is i can honk the horn and no one can tell me off.

no, car horns have always been "scary" to me. even today i'll jump in my seat when one is blasted. also, i never use my car horn even in times where i really should, like imminent collisions. it doesn't occur to me in time to honk it. it does occur to me to do whatever i can individually to prevent the accident from happening, and so far i've been good about that. but i should probably make use of the horn in those times.

I agree, seaweed. I avoid using the horn if at all possible. I have noticed it really doesn't help anything and only makes angry people more so.

I was also a honker, myself. I loved honking horns.
