This Pitbull feat T-Pain song has the lyric "you can be my girl I can be your man"

Is this line sexist? He's using "girl" and "man" as equivalents instead of using "woman" and "man", or "girl" and "boy".

I think it's more about the balance of syllables in each word. girl and man have one. Woman has two.

I also think it's very sexist. It implies that women should stay young forever and they shouldn't grow up.

Yes. As far as rap goes, this is one of the milder lyrics. Much of rap music is much worse, talking about rape and murder.

Who makes rules? A girl or a man?
Who can drive? A girl or a man?
Who can start a business? A girl or a man?
Who can vote? A girl or a man?
Who is expected to bring home a paycheck? A girl or a man?
Who can join the military? A girl or a man?
Who can buy/rent a home? A girl or a man?

Not an equal relationship, to say the least.

Reminds me somewhat of the Rolling Stones' song "Under My Thumb."
