I have to almost change every word that I type! (Can't enlarge the screen to check the title is ok. It should say that the auto spell feature on my tablets keyboard (Keeps changing those words as I type).

And when I correct words it sometimes corrects them back! Whoever thought that this feature which I can't turn off (I have looked in every setting this tablet has) is absolutely stupid. It keeps changing simple words like "Give" to "Have" and "It" to "If", and sometimes adds the most stupidest words to a sentence. Such as sexually explicit words that I have never even typed, ever! (I have said some words but never ever said the words it thought I was going to say, and it wasn't even a conversation involving anything about sex! Who programs these things? It is "Supposed to" learn the words I type but it doesn't as it thinks for itself and pets it horribly wrong!

Sometimes I can't be bothered to read every letter and word I type, and even after I do, I keep finding things I have missed! It is getting stupid! Let me make my own mistakes and let me THINK FOR MYSELF what I want to say. (It even changes half sentences for me at times so going back to correct I sometimes don't know what I typed!)
Which stupid person thought it a good idea to use such a featuring one can't turn off is thick and does not live in the real world. It should be when on and off-able option of left out completely as the real life consequences It can do if the person has not noticed, are very serious! Would people be able to use the creators of such devices if it genuinely caused a really bad issue? I would have thought yes! As not everyone can clearly see these tablet screens as they type. I can enlarge this, but some sites and title headings I can't enlarge. So I have to correct after I post them if they let me! It is amongst the worst technology I have come across on a tablet! It just put a capitol "C" for "Come" in the last sentence and changed "Last" to "Past" as I typed that! I am having to correct about one in three words as I type which takes ages as it is annoying!

Edit. Just look at that stupid title! I will leave it as it is to show what I mean! They really were not kidding when they called it "Artificial intelligence" were they!

Post the model of your tablet and I'll tell you how to turn off autosmell/autocorrect.

I vaguely remember you have a Samsung tablet.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to General Management and select Samsung Keyboard Settings.
3. Turn Predictive text off under Smart typing.

autosmell would be an awesome feature btw :jester:

This tablet is an Amazon Fire. Has certain things that can't be altered. Just in case I will look. But I recall I have tried before. In the past my nephew did something with a new keyboard. I had to do a factory reset which is why this is back to auto spell. :D

Here’s how to turn the auto correction and capitalization features of the Kindle Fire on or off. Swipe down the bar at the top of the screen and choose “Settings“. Select “Language & Keyboard“. Select “Current Keyboard Settings“. Set “Auto-capitalization” and “Auto-correction” to “On” or “Off” as desired.

There isn't a "Language and keyboard" setting as far as I can see. Just been through all the settings.

This is MUCH easier!

I installed the smell card on my desktop. It came prepackaged (of course) with Microsoft Smell. There are many downloadable user created smell plug-ins, such as "Chunderriffic", "Mom's Basement Gamer Funk", and "Spring Flowers Your Dog Just Pooped In."

Tried to turn off autosmell on my tablet.. :ninja: Some how it feels like it is mocking me because of it. Serms whenever , i start a sentence with a A or a S, it seems to figure to start the sentence with a different letter.
Than what I typed on my pad . But for me it could be some weird proprioception issue.. But likely just fat fingers ??.
:| 8O .... .... With me ...?
