will last? i give it 100 maybe 200 more years before someone sets off a nuclear bomb. then i think in a few million years later another life form will rule the earth. what do you think?

For at least 1000 years. Humanity will not wipe itself out. Its population will decrease with war, but there will be survivors. Nuclear war is an uncertainty.

Unless we can dismantle capitalism , start consuming sensibly so we can get our consumption back down to what the planet is producing and get the war on terror under control I'll give it 50 years on the outside.

On the inside I dunno I think you'll be able to tell the how far we are on this course within the next decade.

It's been said the sun its increasing little by little, it will expand big enough to absorb all the other planets and then it will become a black hole, but that will happen in millions of years.
