It's impromptu, so I have to concentrate my thoughts (I'm terrible at this), and at the same time maintain my composure.

That sort of thing is my worst fear. :pale: I can't do public speaking, it gives me unbearable panic attacks. :thumbdown:

Ahh.. Impromptu speeches. In my High School class they were treated as a silly thing to do when we had extra time, yet in my College speech class it was our final exam.

I wasn't that bad since I could at least use that extra minute between getting my topic and the actual speech to figure out how to being. What gave me problems was debating (always arguing negative might have contributed to this).
