I have never used one of those card readers to pay for a transaction. I wouldn't have a clue how to do it. I'm really phobic about it,( as I am also anything that is self service) . What if I put the card in wrong and hold people up. I would annoy people and people would think I was stupid.

It's pretty common for people to take a while when using those sometimes. I use em all the time but it still takes me a while sometimes because differnt readers work different ways. Sometimes I have to sign & sometimes I don't, sometimes I use the chip readers & sometimes the machine doesn't have one, sometimes it has one but it's not activated, other times the machine requires me to use the chip & then scan with my card for everyone that has a chip.
