Sorry, but you're gonna have to grow up and not be a Toys "R" Us kid, because Toys "R" Us has gone into Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

I heard about this already last year. Kind of sucks if it does end up happening. It's not easy finding enough Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon related merchandise for myself other than spending a fortune on eBay and whatever I can find through Amazon, which is not much. I just got my Toys "R" Us rewards card last year too.... -sigh-

I need my sh*t! :c

Chapter 11 is business reorganization. It gives the company some breathing room and time to repay creditors. Its used when a business is in trouble and is trying to stay afloat, not with the purposes of liquidation.

MANY retail dominoes will fall. Some stats say Canada & the USA have more than 20% excess shopping mall and big box commercial real estate. Many of these will be shuttered & repurposed. I predict there will be a lot of office spaces & cubical farms constructed inside what were once retail stores.

I think at least some of those big box buildings would make nice apartments or condos, if done up right.
