I much prefer cats.
They don't bark, or try to jump all over you when they see you.
And to me, dogs always smell unpleasant.
People seem to get upset when I don't fawn over their dogs.
People being my mother.
She always pushes her yappy little dog in my face and tells me how intelligent it is.
Then she lets it go and it pees all over my floor.
Give me a cat any day.

Oh yes. Cats are way better. My flatmate wants a dog but since the lease is mine, I refuse. We have two cats and they are no trouble like a dog can be. They smell nice too. One of the cats has a nice spicy smell while the other one just smells clean and fresh. Heheh.

My sister has two small dogs and their farts smell abominable. Plus they are given to pee on the floor at any time. My sister has to wipe it up frequently.

^ cats almost always smell beautiful.

Dogs, on the other hand, like to roll in rotten animal carcasses.
Let's not forget that.

Cats are highly esteemed in Islamic countries because prophet Muhammad had a cat, Muezza. On the other hand, cats are never mentioned in the Bible except once in the apocryphal book of Baruch 6:21. Dogs are mentioned both in the Bible and the Quran, but always in a negative context.

Cats 2 - Dogs 0.

Actually, my cat drooled a lot more than my dog ever has  In fact, one snuggle session with my cat produced more drool than my dog has produced the entire time I've had him.

In all seriousness, though, I do prefer cats over dogs (shh, don't tell my dog  ). I only have a dog because he's my service dog, and a cat can't legally be a service animal here.

They're both good, but I definitely prefer cats. The dogs I have liked best always displayed more catlike traits. I can't handle a very big dog because I'm a small person and it would likely knock me over. The mess would be impossible for me to take and bigger dogs don't live as long as cats or smaller dogs live.

Indoor cats are nice, but outdoors they kill everything.Birds, butterflies, lizards, baby snakes and frogs.
And my dogs have never once used a houseplant as a litter box.

He always pushes his yappy medium-sized dog in my face and tells me how cute it is.
Then he lets it go and it keeps sitting on my pillow and making it smell like itself too.

+ Cats smell amazing, I was just googling for a cat scented perfume few days ago.

Of course, cat boxes stink if you don't clean them, but nothing is grosser than a big plop of dog poop on the sidewalk.
